Nick and I have a very simple story. We met in a bar! Twice! Who says you can’t find love at a bar?! It was a Saturday night, and I had stumbled upon him at the bar. We exchanged glances. He finally came over and introduced himself. We were both pretty buzzed. His friends rushed him out the bar and that was it. I figured I’d never see him again, but just in case, I saved what I thought was his name in my phone, you know, for later stalking on Facebook. I had gotten the name wrong.
The next weekend, at a different bar, I walked out of the bathroom and to my left I caught the eyes of someone very familiar. It was Nick. I pretended not to notice and walked past him. But he reached out and said, ” hey, I remember you!” It was history from there. We were inseparable.
Fast forward 5 years, on top of Breckenridge mountain, our favorite resort to ski, he proposed to me! It was the most intimate, fun, romantic proposal! I was so excited I could barely ski down the mountain!!
Year and a half later we got married in Aspen!!
